태안군이 지역 농업 발전을 위해 농촌지도자회 회원들을 대상으로 농업 역량 강화를 위한 현장 견학을 실시해 큰 호응을 얻었다. 

태안군농업기술센터는 지난 25일부터 27일 사이에 이원면, 소원면, 태안읍, 남면 등 4개 읍면의 농촌지도자회 회원 150명을 경북 상주시에서 열린 ‘2025 상주농업기계 박람회’에 방문했다.

이번 행사에서 참여자들은 밭작물 및 수도작 농업기계, 원예 및 축산 농작업기계, 각종 부품을 살펴보며 자율주행 트랙터와 이앙기, 무인 방제기, 농용 로봇, 스마트팜 등 첨단 농기계와 자재에 대한 농업 생산성과 수익 향상 방안을 논의했다. 

이를 통해 농촌 지도자들이 최신 기술을 접하고 농업 혁신에 대한 인식을 높이는 기회를 가졌다.

소원면 농촌지도자회 국응진 회장은 “이번 견학을 계기로 첨단 농업기계와 스마트 ICT 융복합 농업 시대에 발맞춘 농촌지도자회원의 역량 강화에 힘쓰겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다. 

또한, 군 관계자는 “농업기계화는 단순한 노동력 절감 수단을 넘어 농업 환경 보전과 지속 가능한 농업·농촌 발전을 위한 핵심으로 자리잡았다”며 “친환경 농업기술과 기계화의 조화를 이루어 농업의 미래 경쟁력을 높이고 탄소중립 목표도 달성할 수 있도록 하겠다”고 강조했다.

이번 견학은 농촌지도자들의 농업 역량을 높이고, 지역 농업의 지속 가능한 발전을 위한 중요한 발판이 될 것으로 기대된다.
