충남 당진시가 청년농업인의 안정적인 판로 확보를 위해 지역 온라인 커뮤니티와 손을 잡았다.

당진시는 1일, 네이버 대표 지역 커뮤니티인 ‘당진부동산 카페’와 연계한 청년농업인 농산물 홍보·직거래 지원 사업을 추진하고, 오는 10일까지 참여 농가를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 회원 수 12만 명을 자랑하는 지역 최대 커뮤니티를 통해 청년농업인이 직접 생산한 농산물을 소개하고, 소비자와의 직거래를 활성화하기 위해 마련됐다. 

특히 지역 청년에게 새로운 판매 채널을 제공하는 동시에, 시민에게는 신선하고 믿을 수 있는 농산물을 손쉽게 구매할 수 있는 기회를 열어줄 전망이다.

참여를 희망하는 청년농업인은 당진시에 주소와 영농 기반을 둔 1982년 이후 출생자로, 자가 생산 농산물을 온라인 홍보 및 직거래 방식으로 판매할 수 있어야 한다. 

당진시는 참여 농가를 대상으로 잔류농약 검사 등 안전성 검증을 지원해, 소비자 신뢰를 높이는 ‘안심 농산물 거래 환경’을 조성할 계획이다.

선정된 청년농업인은 ‘당진부동산 카페’ 내에 개설될 ‘청년농부 직거래장터’ 전용 게시판을 통해 자신이 생산한 농산물을 직접 홍보할 수 있다. 또한 기존 게시글 작성 제한이 완화되고, 가공 상품 판매 등 다양한 부가 혜택도 지원된다.

당진시 관계자는 “이번 사업은 청년농업인의 자생력을 높이고, 지역 농산물이 지역민의 삶 속에 자리 잡는 구조를 만드는 데 의미가 있다”며 “온라인 플랫폼을 기반으로 한 직거래 문화를 확대해 청년농이 지속 가능한 농업인으로 성장할 수 있도록 뒷받침하겠다”고 밝혔다.
