최원철 공주시장이 민선 8기의 성과를 발판 삼아 다시 한번 시민의 선택을 받기 위한 대장정에 올랐다. 최 시장은 4일 오전 자신의 선거사무소에서 기자회견을 열고 "공주의 미래 경쟁력을 한 단계 더 끌어올리겠다"며 시장 재선 출마를 공식 선언했다.
