금산군이 지역의 미래를 책임질 신혼부부와 청년들을 위한 보금자리 마련을 본격화한다. 

군은 지난 2일 금산읍 상옥3리 노인회관에서 ‘신혼청년 공공임대주택 조성사업’ 주민설명회를 열고 그간의 추진 경과를 투명하게 공개했다고 3일 밝혔다. 특히 기존 낡은 아파트를 헐어내는 해체 공사를 앞두고, 주민들이 우려하는 소음이나 진동, 비산먼지 등 생활 불편을 최소화하기 위한 안전 대책을 논의하기 위해 마련된 자리다.

공사 현장이 주택가와 밀접하게 맞닿아 있는 만큼, 군은 무엇보다 주민들의 안전과 정주 여건 보호를 최우선 순위에 두기로 했다. 분진막 설치를 강화하고 작업 시간을 탄력적으로 운영하는 등 피해 방지책을 총 동원해 신속하고도 깔끔하게 공사를 마무리할 방침이다.
