금산군이 치유농업을 관광과 접목한 헬스투어 활성화에 본격적으로 나섰다. 지역 농업·농촌 자원을 체험 중심 관광으로 확장하는 데서 한 걸음 더 나아가, 치유와 휴식을 결합한 금산형 관광 모델을 구체화하겠다는 구상이다. 

지난 30일 제원면 소재 '프루스트의 비밀정원'에서 열린 간담회에는 금산농촌체험치유연구회원 40여 명이 참석했다. 참석자들은 최근 달라진 소비 흐름에 맞춰 금산의 농업·농촌 자원을 어떤 방식으로 관광 콘텐츠로 풀어낼지 의견을 나눴고, 체험형 프로그램을 보다 입체적으로 구성하는 방안도 함께 모색했다. 

금산형 헬스투어의 방향을 둘러싼 구체적인 제안도 이어졌다. 손민영 ‘손메이드’ 대표가 활성화 방안을 발표했고, 조윤희 ‘프루스트의 비밀정원’ 대표는 제원면 시범 코스를 소개했다. 지경연 ‘풀꽃마당 치유정원’ 대표는 치유농업과 헬스투어를 잇는 현장 아이디어를 내놨다. 이어진 자유토론에서는 농촌체험과 관광 서비스의 완성도를 높이기 위한 민관 협력 방안이 논의됐다.

이번 논의는 금산군이 지역의 농업 자원을 단순한 볼거리나 체험거리로 소비하는 데 그치지 않고, 머무르며 회복을 경험하는 관광 자산으로 재편하려는 흐름과 맞닿아 있다. 헬스투어가 지역 관광의 새로운 축이 되려면 개별 프로그램의 나열을 넘어 동선, 운영 방식, 서비스 품질이 함께 갖춰져야 하는데, 군은 이번 간담회를 통해 그 출발점을 주민 제안과 현장 경험에서 찾으려 한 것으로 보인다.
