충청남도 예산군이 제2단계 제2기 지역균형발전사업의 일환으로 335억원의 추가 예산을 확보하며 지역 발전의 새로운 전환점을 맞이했다. 

이번 예산은 시군 자율사업 2차 공모에서 선정된 3건의 프로젝트를 통해 마련되었으며, 총 8개 사업에 대한 지원이 이루어져 총 1024억원의 예산이 확보된 상태다.

주요 사업으로는 K-773 지역활성화 거점센터 조성과 농업근로자 기숙사 조성이 포함된다. 

K-773 지역활성화 거점센터는 구 충남방적 부지에 프로그램실과 회의실을 갖춘 공간으로, 주민 참여광장과 함께 지역 주민들이 모일 수 있는 중심 거점으로 활용될 예정이다. 

이 센터는 지역 사회의 다양한 프로그램과 활동을 지원하여 주민 간의 소통을 증진시키는 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.

또한, 봉산면에 조성될 농업근로자 기숙사는 50명의 농업근로자가 거주할 수 있는 공간으로, 커뮤니티실과 편의시설, 야외 체육공간, 쉼터 등을 포함하여 농가의 인력 부족 문제를 해결하고 근로자들의 복지를 향상시키는 데 기여할 예정이다.

최재구 군수는 “2026년부터 2030년까지 진행될 제2기 지역균형발전사업을 통해 예산군의 지속 가능한 발전을 도모하겠다”며, “이 사업들이 성공적으로 추진되어 새로운 일자리 창출과 지역 경제 활성화에 기여할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 강조했다. 

예산군의 이번 사업 추진은 지역 주민의 삶의 질 향상과 함께 지역 경제의 활성화에 중요한 기여를 할 것으로 기대된다.

Chungcheongnam-do Yesan County secured an additional budget of 33.5 billion won as part of the 2nd phase 2nd regional balanced development project, reaching a new turning point in regional development.
