세종시교육청은 10일 시교육청 대강당에서 본청 및 직속기관 교직원이 참석한 가운데 ‘부교육감과 함께하는 청렴 교육’을 실시했다.

이번 교육은 공직사회 전반에 적극행정과 투명성에 대한 사회적 요구가 높아짐에 따라, 기관장의 청렴 리더십을 중심으로 청렴 정책을 적극 추진하고 조직 전반에 청렴 문화를 확산하기 위해 마련됐다.

특히, 이번 교육에 나선 구연희 교육감 권한대행은 국민권익위원회 산하 국가청렴권익교육원이 운영하는 ‘청렴교육 내부강사 양성과정’을 이수해 자격을 취득한 후 교육을 맡았다. 

교육은 교육현장에서 반드시 알아야 할 반부패 관련 법령 ,공무원 행동강령의 주요 내용과 사례 ,적극행정의 의미와 실천 사례 ,공직자가 유의해야 할 이해충돌 방지 제도 등으로 진행됐다.

또, 실제 공직사회에서 발생할 수 있는 다양한 상황을 사례 중심으로 설명해 교직원들이 청렴 기준을 보다 쉽게 이해하고 실천할 수 있도록 했다. 

이를 통해 교직원들은 공직자로서 지켜야 할 청렴 행동 기준을 다시 한번 되새기고, 교육 현장에서 발생할 수 있는 부패 위험 요소에 대한 대응 역량을 높이는 계기를 마련했다.

구연희 교육감 권한대행은 “사회 전반에 공공기관에 대한 청렴성과 적극행정에 대한 시민들의 기대가 높아지고 있는 만큼, 다양한 청렴 정책과 실천 활동으로 공직사회 내 청렴 문화를 더욱 확산해 나갈 것.”이라며" 부서별 자율적인 진단점검을 통하여 행정의 효율성을 높이고 투명성을 강화해 건전한 조직 문화를 조성하도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.

She added, "Through autonomous departmental diagnostic and inspections, we will strive to enhance administrative efficiency and enhance transparency, thereby fostering a sound organizational culture."
