충남 금산군이 관내 중소기업의 창의적 기술 보호와 시장 경쟁력 강화를 위해 ‘지식재산 창출 지원사업’을 추진하며, 오는 18일까지 참여 기업의 신청을 받는다고 4일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 특허, 상표, 디자인 등 지식재산권의 국내 출원은 물론, 글로벌 시장 진출을 위한 특허협력조약(PCT) 국제출원도 포함하고 있다. 또한 연구개발(R&D) 전략 수립을 위한 특허 분석과 고부가가치 브랜드 및 디자인 개발 등 다양한 분야에서 기업 맞춤형 지원을 제공할 예정이다.

사업 위탁 수행은 충남지식재산센터가 맡으며, 중부대학교 산학협력단, 금산인삼약초산업진흥원 등 지역 혁신기관들과 협력체계를 구축해 지역 내 유망 기업의 참여를 유도하고 있다.

특히 변리사, 디자이너 등 각 분야의 전문가들과 연계한 컨설팅을 통해, 단순한 행정지원이 아닌 실질적인 지식재산 역량 강화로 이어질 수 있도록 구성된 것이 특징이다.

지식재산 창출 지원사업 신청은 충남지식재산센터 홈페이지를 통해 온라인으로 접수할 수 있으며, 사업에 대한 자세한 안내는 센터를 통해 문의 가능하다.

금산군 관계자는 “지난해 22개 기업에 대해 총 27건의 지식재산 창출을 지원한 바 있다”며, “올해도 지역 기업들의 창의적 아이디어가 보호받고, 안정적인 기술개발 환경이 조성될 수 있도록 아낌없는 노력을 기울이겠다”고 전했다.
