가세로 군수 리더십에 한계 왔다는 지적이 현실로 들어나?

 

충남 태안군청 직원의 '발뺌 행정'이 군정 행정에 대한 신뢰를 바닥으로 떨어뜨리는 극한의 행태를 보이면서 이대로는 안된다는 지적이다.

 

지난 3월 7일 본지는 태안군청 공보팀에 가세로 군수와 관련된 다소 민감한 주제에 대한 서면 인터뷰 자료를 건넸다.

 

서면 인터뷰라고는 했지만 사실상 가 군수와 관련된 불편한 진실을 밝히기 위한 질의서나 다름이 없었다.

 

당시 군청 공보팀에 요청한 서면 인터뷰 자료에는 대표적으로 2025.2.28.확대 간부 회의 시 가세로 군수발언 내용등과 관련된 의혹에 대해 가세로 군수의 답변을 요청하는 내용이 담겨 있었다.

 

본지는 당시 서면인터뷰에 대한 답변을 3월 14일까지 요청했었다.

 

하지만 시간이 훌쩍 지났음에도 군청에서는 일언반구 이에 대한 답변은 커녕 서면 인터뷰 요청 사실을 부인하는 황당한 일이 발생해 인터뷰 요청 당사자를 당황하게 했다.

 

태안군청 공보실 팀장은 지난 27일 본지의 서면 인터뷰에 대한 답변 진행 상황에 대한 질문에 "자신이 직접 문서를 받지 않아 접수된 것이 없다"는 황당한 답변을 했다.

 

공보실 직원에게 전달한 문서가 팀장이 직접 받지 않았기 때문에 그런 사실이 없다고 답변한 것으로 보인다.

 

공보실 팀장의 답변대로라면 태안군수 앞으로 보내지는 공식 문서는 가세로 군수가 직접 수령해야 공식화 된다는 소리로 들리기에 부족함이 없어 보였다.

 

팀원에게 전달된 문서가 팀장에게 보고가 되지 않았다면 태안군청의 문서 수발에 대한 낙후성과 원시성을 그대로 보여 줬다는 데 대해서 그동안 태안군민들이 겪었을 고충을 이해할 듯 하다.

 

본지는 민원 처리에 대한 기본 절차를 망각한 것으로 보고 이에 정식 문서를 접수해  가세로 군수와 관련된 의혹 해소에 적극 나서기로 했다.

 

민원실을 통해 정식 문서로 접수한 만큼 이번에는 문서를 받지 못했다는 말이 나오지 않을 것으로 기대한다.
