대전 대덕구의회가 13일 연축동에 위치한 대덕구 신청사 공사 현장을 점검했다. 이번 점검은 제285회 임시회의 일환으로, 공사 진행 상황과 향후 계획을 파악하기 위해 실시됐다.

현장을 방문한 대덕구의회는 현장에서 공사 관계자들로부터 사업 현황과 애로사항을 청취하고, 의회 차원에서의 지원 방안에 대해 의견을 나눴다. 

대덕구 신청사는 총 1598억 원의 구비가 투입되며, 연축동 241번지 일원에 연면적 48810㎡ 규모로 지하 2층, 지상 9층으로 조성된다. 

착공은 오는 7월로 예정되어 있으며, 2027년 12월 준공 목표다.

대덕구의회는 또 오정동에 위치한 오정근린공원으로 이동하여, 공원 곳곳을 살피고 관계자들에게 철저한 유지관리를 당부했다. 오정근린공원은 잔디마당, 다목적구장, 놀이공간, 무장애산책로, 공중화장실 등 다양한 시설로 구성되어 있다.

전석광 의장은 “현장 중심의 의정활동을 통해 주민 편익을 증진하고 복리 증진에 최선을 다할 것”이라고 강조했다. 이번 현장 점검은 대덕구의 지속적인 발전을 위한 의회의 노력을 보여주는 의정활동으로 평가된다.
