충남도의회가 도내 핵심산업인 자동차부품산업의 발전 기반을 조성하기 위한 조례를 제정한다.

도의회는 방한일 의원(예산1·국민의힘)이 대표 발의한 ‘충청남도 자동차부품산업 육성 및 지원에 관한 조례안’이 21일 열린 제335회 임시회 기획경제위원회 제1차 회의에서 통과됐다고 밝혔다.

조례안에는 자동차부품산업 육성을 위한 도지사의 책무와 충남도 자동차부품산업 종합발전계획 수립 등의 내용이 담겼다.

또 자동차부품산업 관련 사업을 수행하는 기관·법인에게 재정지원을 할 수 있는 근거 조항을 마련하고, 자동차부품산업육성위원회를 설치·구성하여 관련 산업 육성을 위한 시책 등을 심의하도록 했다.

방 의원은 “충남은 전국에서 4번째로 자동차부품 업체가 많은 지역으로 이번 조례 제정으로 자동차대체부품 뿐만 아니라 모든 자동차부품 산업에 대해 체계적인 지원이 이뤄지길 바란다”고 말했다.

이번 조례안은 오는 29일 열리는 제335회 임시회 3차 본회의에서 최종 의결될 예정이다.
