더불어민주당 세종특별자치시당 공직선거후보자추천관리위원회(위원장 봉정현)는 23일 세종시당 대회의실에서 제2차 회의를 열고, 후보자 공모 일정과 검증 체계 등 주요 안건을 의결했다.

이번 회의에서 공관위는 공직선거 후보자 공모를 온라인 접수 방식으로 진행하기로 하고, 접수 기간을 2월 24일 오전 9시부터 3월 5일 오후 6시까지 10일간으로 확정했다.

또한 후보 검증의 전문성과 객관성을 높이기 위해 2개 검증 소위원회를 구성하기로 했다. 제1소위는 도덕성 검증 및 추가예비후보자 검증을, 제2소위는 정책 역량과 행정 능력 검증을 각각 담당한다.

이날 회의에서는 공천심사 운영 지침도 점검했다. 심사·경선 과정에서의 가산·감산 기준과 대표 경력 인정 범위 등을 검토했으며, 중앙당 지침을 토대로 세종시의 현실에 맞는 세부 기준을 마련해 나가기로 했다. 공관위는 특히 허위 기재나 사실 왜곡에 대해서는 엄정 대응한다는 원칙을 공유했다.

아울러 공직선거후보자추천기구 운영 규칙도 논의됐다. 공정성과 신뢰성 확보, 심사·결정의 일관성 유지 등을 목표로 한 해당 규칙을 통해 안정적인 심사 체계를 마련하겠다는 방침이다.

공관위는 언론 소통과 제보 접수 창구도 명확히 했다. 대언론 창구는 박범종 대변인이, 제보 접수 창구는 백현만 사무처장이 각각 전담한다. 위원회는 “소통 통로를 일원화해 불공정 논란을 차단하고, 투명하고 효율적인 공심위 운영을 실현하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 중앙당은 올해부터 시·도당 공관위의 공천심사 과정을 점검하는 ‘암행어사단’을 운영 중이다. 세종시당 공관위는 이에 발맞춰 외부 감시와 내부 책임을 함께 강화해 “공정하고 투명한 공천관리의 본보기가 되겠다”는 입장을 밝혔다.
