충남 서산시가 시티투어 코스를 기존 2개에서 3개로 확대하고, 새롭게 준공된 자원회수시설 전망대를 추가하며 관광·환경 교육을 결합한 매력적인 프로그램으로 업그레이드했다고 9일 밝혔다.

서산시는 대형 버스와 문화관광해설사를 동반한 ‘서산 시티투어’를 A·B·C 3개 코스로 세분화해 관광객 선택 폭을 넓혔다.

지난해 12월 준공된 친환경 체험관광형 자원회수시설(양대동 827 일원)을 새롭게 포함, 시티투어 탑승객에게 전망대(94m 높이) 무료 관람 혜택을 부여했다.

이 시설은 하루 200톤 생활폐기물 처리 능력을 갖추고 찜질방·사우나·어드벤처 슬라이드 등 편익·체험 시설을 겸비한 ‘자원순환 도시’ 랜드마크다.

새롭게 선보이는 3개 코스 가운데 A코스는 용현리 마애여래삼존상 → 여미오미(중식) → 서산한우목장길 → 개심사 → 해미국제성지 (역사·문화 중심). B코스는 황금산 → 삼길포항(중식) → 안견기념관 → 자원회수시설 → 동부전통시장 (자연·환경·시장 탐방)을 운행하고, C코스는 서산버드랜드 → 간월도(중식) → 서산해미읍성 → 자원회수시설 → 동부전통시장 (동물원·유적·환경)을 운행한다.

서산시는 3월 1일부터 운영 중인 이 코스를 통해 지역 역사와 자원 순환·환경 보호 메시지를 동시에 전달한다.
