충남 당진시 면천면에 위치한 골정지가 연꽃의 개화와 함께 여름철 대표 관광지로 주목받고 있다. 조선 후기 실학자 연암 박지원의 흔적이 남아 있는 이곳은, 역사와 자연이 어우러진 고즈넉한 풍경으로 해마다 여름이면 많은 발길을 끌어모은다.
