이장우 대전광역시장이 29일 한남대학교에서 열린 ‘AI 기반 디지털혁신전략 최고위과정(DIP)’ 강의에 특별 강연자로 나서, 대전의 철학과 미래 비전을 제시했다. 이번 강연은 단순한 시정 보고가 아닌, 대전을 어떤 도시로 그려나갈 것인가에 대한 깊이 있는 철학적 메시지를 담은 자리였다.

이 시장은 대전의 정체성을 ‘개척자 정신’에서 찾았다. 그는 “한 세기 전, 철도와 함께 이 땅을 일군 개척자들이 있었듯, 오늘날 대전은 과학기술과 디지털 혁신의 새로운 개척자들이 모여드는 도시”라고 강조했다. 이와 함께 대전을 단순한 ‘대한민국 과학수도’를 넘어 ‘글로벌 혁신 허브’로 육성하겠다는 포부를 밝혔다.
