이장우 대전시장은 4월 20일 주간업무회의에서 최근 탈출 후 포획된 늑대 ‘늑구’ 사건을 계기로 현재 약 1000평 규모로 운영 중인 대전 동물원의 동물 사육 공간 확대와 시설 안전, 운영 효율성 강화를 지시했다.
