시공명리학 32번째 칼럼은 개봉 한 달여 만에 천만 관객을 돌파하며 기록적인 흥행을 거두고 있는 영화 ‘왕사남’ 이야기를 해보려고 합니다. 특히 정치적 희생양으로 짧은 생을 마감했던 단종의 곁을 마지막까지 지켰던 엄흥도를 연기한 유해진님 이야기입니다.  

생활연기의 대가로 일상에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 인물을 표현하는 능력이 뛰어나며, 과장되지 않은 유머로 친근한 매력을 지녔으며 실제 성격도 소탈하고 검소해 스타라기보다 ‘동네 형’ 같은 편안함을 주며, 단역과 조연을 거쳐 마침내 주연에 이르기까지 묵묵히 필모그래피를 쌓아 온 배우입니다.

자월(子月)은 미래를 설계하는 출발점으로, 金을 품어야 생명수로서의 가치가 높아지고 모친이 아이를 품듯 생명체를 잉태할 수 있습니다. 년지 유금(年支 酉金)은 자수(子水)에 미네랄 제공하며, 월간 병화(月干 丙火)가 그 작용을 촉진합니다. 또 일간 갑목(日干 甲木)은 자월이 꿈꾸는 미래이기에 어둠을 헤치고 천천히 발전해가는 모습입니다. 따라서 생활형 서민 캐릭터부터 권위 있는 직업까지 폭넓게 소화할 수 있는 이유는 바로 사주구조의 다자조합들로 설명이 가능합니다.

자월에 임갑기(壬甲己)로 조합하면 甲木이 안정적으로 뿌리내릴 터전이 형성됩니다. 한 곳에 뿌리를 단단히 내리고 학문에 몰두하는 학자의 자질과 다를 바 없습니다. 여기에 병화(丙火)가 더해지면 화려하게 꽃 피우고 세상 앞에 드러나기에 권위를 갖춘 공직자의 모습니다. 바로 壬甲丙 三字조합으로 장기간 교육에 전념한 박사급이지만 문제는 긴긴 엄동설한을 지나듯 존재감을 드러내기까지는 오랜 세월이 필요하다는 점입니다. 

지지(地支)에선 신자진(申子辰) 어둠의 무리들이 방탕하는 문제를 병화가 해결하기에 검경(檢警) 물상으로도 활용할 수 있습니다. 흥미로운 점은 조폭이나 건달로 스크린에 등장했던 시기가 2001년 신사년 ‘신라의 달밤’, 2011년 신묘년 ‘마마’가 그 흐름을 상징적으로 보여줍니다. 

앞서 언급했던 글자조합과도 연결되는데 신금(辛金)이 병화(丙火)와 병신 합(丙辛合)으로 묶이는 순간 빛을 상실하고 어둠의 무리들이 다시 활개 치기에 방탕한 기질이 표출되고 조직 세계에 어울리는 인물로 드러났습니다.  

또한 이 모든 시나리오를 소화할 수 있었던 이유는 년지(年支) 기준 일간(日干)이 겁살(劫殺)로 사유축 삼합(巳酉丑 三合)의 틀을 벗어났기에 새로운 영혼을 받아들이는데 익숙하며, 내 안의 또 다른 내가 반응합니다. 이처럼 사주에서 조합한 글자들의 구조는 한 사람이 어떤 방식으로 자신의 존재가치를 드러내는지를 보여주는 기준이 됩니다. 물론 태어날 때 제공된 사주구조가 한 사람의 가능성을 설명할 수는 있어도, 그것을 어떤 방식으로 완성할지는 스스로의 선택에 달려 있습니다.  

니체는 “너 자신이 되어라”는 화두를 남겼는데, 이는 결국 주어진 조건을 넘어 스스로를 완성해 가는 과정을 뜻합니다. 명리가 보여주는 것은 가능성의 지도일 뿐, 그 길을 어떤 방식으로 자신의 삶으로 소화시킬지는 각자의 의지와 태도에 달려 있습니다. 운세보다 더 오래 남는 것은 자기에게 제공된 삶을 끝까지 성실히 빚어낸 시간일지도 모릅니다.
