대전광역시시설관리공단이 해빙기 취약시설에서 발생할 수 있는 안전사고를 예방하기 위해 현장 안전점검을 실시했다.

공단은 10일 해빙기 지반 약화에 따른 붕괴와 낙석 등 각종 사고 위험에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 취약시설에 대한 안전점검을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이번 점검은 해빙기 특성상 지반이 약해지면서 급경사지와 옹벽, 사면 등에서 안전사고 가능성이 높아지는 점을 고려해 추진됐다. 특히 사람의 접근이 쉽지 않은 용운국제수영장 내 급경사지와 보강토 옹벽 구간에 대해서는 드론을 활용한 점검을 실시해 현장 확인의 효율성과 정밀도를 높였다.

점검에는 대전시 합동점검반도 함께 참여했다. 외부 전문가가 포함된 합동점검 방식으로 진행되면서 시설 상태를 보다 전문적이고 객관적으로 살피는 데 중점을 뒀다.

지난 2월 3일 임명된 이홍석 경영본부장도 이날 현장을 직접 찾아 점검 상황을 확인했다. 이 본부장은 상시 모니터링 강화와 점검 결과에 대한 이력관리의 중요성을 강조하며, 안전책임관으로서 현장 중심의 안전관리체계 확립을 당부했다.

공단은 이번 점검 과정에서 확보한 드론 촬영 자료를 향후 시설물 유지관리와 안전관리체계 고도화에 활용할 계획이다. 현장 데이터를 체계적으로 축적해 해빙기뿐 아니라 계절별 위험요인에 대한 대응력을 높이겠다는 방침이다.
