대전광역시가 중동 정세 불안으로 경영 위기에 처한 지역 수출 중소기업을 돕기 위해 500억 원 규모의 긴급 경영안정자금을 편성하고 10일부터 본격적인 지원에 나선다. 

이번 조치는 유가 상승과 금융 불안 등 중동사태발 경제 충격으로부터 지역 기업들을 보호하기 위한 선제적 대응책이다.

대전시는 기존에 계획된 상반기 중소기업 육성자금 1,600억 원과는 별도로 이번 긴급자금 500억 원을 추가로 투입한다. 이를 통해 수출 전선에 비상이 걸린 기업들에게 적기에 유동성을 공급하고 자금을 탄력적으로 운용해 피해를 최소화한다는 방침이다.

지원 대상은 최근 2년 이내에 10만 달러 이상의 수출 실적을 보유한 지역 중소기업 중 이번 중동사태로 직접적인 수출 피해를 본 기업이다. 선정된 기업은 업체당 최대 5억 원까지 대출을 받을 수 있으며, 대전시로부터 2년간 연 2.5%의 이차보전(이자 차액 지원) 혜택을 받게 된다.

자금 지원을 희망하는 기업은 대전일자리경제진흥원의 중소기업지원 포털 ‘대전비즈’를 통해 온라인으로 신청할 수 있다. 대전시와 협약이 체결된 시중은행을 통해 대출 절차를 진행하면 시의 이자 지원 혜택이 적용된다.

한편, 대전시는 지난 5일부터 8개 팀으로 구성된 비상경제대책본부를 가동하며 실시간 경제 동향 모니터링과 상황별 맞춤형 대응 체계를 유지하고 있다.
