2027 충청권 하계세계대학경기대회(이하 U대회) 조직위원회가 대회의 성공적인 개최를 위해 지역 언론과의 가교 부수기에 나섰다. 

조직위원회는 10일 세종을 시작으로 충청권 4개 시·도를 순회하며 출입 기자단 대상 간담회를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 간담회는 충청권이 공동으로 주관하는 국제 스포츠 축제의 준비 과정을 투명하게 공개하고, 지역 사회의 목소리를 대회 운영에 적극적으로 반영하기 위해 마련됐다. 

일정은 10일 세종에 이어 11일 대전, 12일 충북, 17일 충남 순으로 진행되며 지역별 현안을 두루 살필 계획이다.

간담회 현장에서는 이창섭 조직위 부위원장이 직접 마이크를 잡고 현재까지의 준비 상황과 핵심 현안을 상세히 브리핑한다. 

특히 단순한 정보 전달을 넘어 경기 운영 방식부터 시설 확충, 관람객을 위한 교통·숙박 대책까지 언론 현장에서 제기되는 다양한 의견을 수렴해 향후 운영 계획에 반영한다는 방침이다.

이창섭 부위원장은 충청권 4개 시·도가 힘을 합쳐 만드는 대회인 만큼 지역 언론의 관심과 협조가 필수적임을 강조했다. 그는 "앞으로도 언론과 긴밀하게 소통하며 모든 준비 과정을 공유해 충청의 위상을 드높이는 성공적인 대회를 만들겠다"라고 포부를 밝혔다.

한편, 2027 충청 U대회는 오는 2027년 8월 1일부터 12일까지 대전, 세종, 충북, 충남 전역에서 펼쳐진다. 전 세계 150여 개국에서 1만 5,000여 명의 선수단이 참가해 총 18개 종목에서 뜨거운 열전을 벌일 예정이다.

The 2027 Chungcheong World University Games (hereinafter referred to as the Universiade) Organizing Committee has begun building bridges with local media to ensure the success of the Games.
