충남 논산시의회가 23일 제270회 임시회를 개회, 3월 5일까지 11일간 의사일정을 시작하며 2026년 주요 업무계획 보고 청취와 조례안 심의에 본격 착수했다.

이번 임시회는 의원 발의 7건을 포함한 12건의 조례안과 3건의 일반안건 등 총 15건 안건을 처리한다. 집행부로부터 ‘2026년도 주요업무 추진계획 보고’와 ‘2025년 공모사업 추진 상황’도 연석으로 청취해 정책 문제점을 점검하고 실행 방안을 모색한다.

개회 첫째 날인 23일 제1차 본회의에서는 회기결정의 건, 관계 공무원 출석요구의 건, 2025 회계연도 결산검사위원 선임의 건 등을 처리했다. 이어 각 상임위원회에서 제·개정 조례안과 관리계획안, 시행계획안, 의견 청취의 건 등을 면밀히 심사했다.

본회의에서는 서원 의원이 ‘2024 원예특작 지역맞춤형 지원사업’과 관련해 5분 자유발언을 통해 행정의 보조금 사업 공모 원칙과 전산 등록 제도화를 촉구했다. 24일부터 다음 달 4일까지는 실·과·소별 업무계획 보고를 연석 청취한다. 임시회 막바지인 3월 5일 제2차 본회의에서는 서승필 의원의 시정질문과 안건 최종 의결로 마무리된다.
