국립공주대학교(총장 임경호)가 교육부와 한국대학교육협의회가 주관하는 ‘2025-2026년 고교교육 기여대학 지원사업’에 선정되며, 18년 연속으로 사업에 참여하게 됐다.

이번 지원사업은 대학입학전형의 공정성과 투명성을 높이고, 고교 교육과정과의 연계를 강화함으로써 수험생과 학부모의 부담을 줄이는 것을 목적으로 한다. 교육부는 전국 92개 대학을 선정해 오는 2025년 3월부터 2027년 2월까지 2년간 사업을 추진할 예정이다.

국립공주대는 이번 선정으로 2025년 한 해에만 약 7억2800만원의 국고 지원을 받게 되며, 대입 전형 간소화와 공정성 확보, 고교교육 지원 확대 등 다양한 영역에서 교육 기여 활동을 본격화할 계획이다.

학교 측은 특히 학생과 학부모의 대입 부담을 덜기 위해 대학 자원을 활용한 고교 대상 프로그램 강화, 대입 정보 제공 확대, 공정한 평가 시스템 정착 등을 중점 추진할 방침이다.

어윤경 입학본부장은 “2026학년도부터는 자율전공학부 신설, 학생부교과전형의 반영 방식 변경, 학교폭력 관련 전형 반영 등 입시 제도 변화가 예고돼 있다”며 “이번 사업을 통해 입학본부의 대응 역량을 높이고, 공정한 입시 운영으로 수험생의 신뢰를 받을 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 강조했다.

Kongju National University selected for the High School Education Contribution University Support Project for 18 consecutive years

Kongju National University (President Lim Kyung-ho) has been selected for the ‘2025-2026 High School Education Contribution University Support Project’ hosted by the Ministry of Education and the Korean Council for University Education, and will participate in the project for 18 consecutive years.
