대전시교육청이 27일, 17개 시도교육청의 성희롱 및 성폭력 근절을 위해 '시‧도교육청 성희롱‧성폭력 전담조직 협의체'를 구성하고, 대전시교육청에서 첫 협의회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협의체는 각 시도교육청이 운영하는 자체 사안 대응 체계에 대한 교차 점검과 개선 방안을 논의하기 위해 설립되었다. 

이를 통해 교육청별 특성을 반영한 맞춤형 사안 처리 체계를 더욱 견고히 구축하고, 우수 사례를 공유하는 심도 있는 협의가 이루어질 예정이다.

또한, 시도교육청 간의 교류와 협력을 강화하여, 2024년 딥페이크 피해와 같은 전국 단위 위기 상황에 신속하고 일관성 있는 공동 대응을 마련하고, 피해자 보호를 위한 실효성 있는 재발 방지 대책을 수립하는 중요한 기반이 될 것으로 기대된다.

첫 협의회에서는 사안 대응 체계 점검, 성희롱 및 성폭력 예방 교육, 피해자 보호를 위한 법적·제도적 조치 강화 방안 등 다양한 주제에 대해 17개 시도교육청 담당자들이 열띤 토의를 진행하였다. 

이를 통해 학교 내 성희롱과 성폭력을 근절하기 위한 구체적인 방안들이 모색되었다.

On the 27th, the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education announced that it formed the 'City/Provincial Office of Education Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence Special Organization Council' to eradicate sexual harassment and sexual violence in 17 city/provincial offices of education and held its first council meeting at the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education.
