조국혁신당 문수연 변호사가 오는 4월 2일 실시하는 대전시의원 유성구 제2선거구(온천1·2동, 노은1동) 보궐선거 후보로 공식 등록을 마쳤다.

문수연 후보(33)는 6년차 변호사로 법무법인 태하에서 활동하며 다양한 공익 소송을 수행해온 경력을 지니고 있다. 또한, 조국혁신당 대전시당 대변인으로서 지역 및 사회적 문제 해결을 위한 정책 개발에 주력해왔다.

문 후보는 2025년 2월 27일 예비후보 등록을 완료한 후, 조국혁신당의 후보 공모 및 서류 심사, 면접 심사, 여론 청취 등 4단계의 심사를 거쳐 최종 후보로 확정되었다.

그는 "지역사회는 거대 양당 정치의 대립과 정체된 구조로 인해 시민들의 실질적 삶의 질 향상을 도모하지 못하는 한계에 직면하고 있다"며, "법조인으로서 쌓아온 전문성을 바탕으로 정책 중심의 정치를 구현하고 시민과 직접 소통하는 시정을 만들어가겠다"고 출마 소견을 밝혔다.

이번 보궐선거는 고(故) 송대윤 전 대전시의원의 사망으로 인한 공석을 채우기 위해 실시되며, 도시 개발, 소상공인 지원 정책, 청년층 주거 및 일자리 문제 등 지역 내 주요 쟁점이 부각되고 있다. 

문 후보는 "지역 경제를 활성화하고 청년과 서민을 위한 실질적 정책 대안을 마련하는 데 집중하겠다"며 정책적 방향성을 제시했다.

Moon Soo-yeon, candidate for the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, registers as a candidate for the Daejeon City Council Yuseong-gu District 2 by-election

Attorney Moon Soo-yeon has officially registered as a candidate for the Daejeon City Council Yuseong-gu District 2 by-election (Oncheon 1·2-dong, Noeun 1-dong) to be held on April 2.

Candidate Moon Soo-yeon (33) is a six-year lawyer who has worked at Taeha Law Firm and has experience handling various public interest litigation cases. In addition, as the spokesperson for the Cho Kuk Innovation Party Daejeon City Party, she has focused on developing policies to solve regional and social issues.

After completing preliminary candidate registration on February 27, 2025, Moon was confirmed as the final candidate after going through four stages of screening, including the Cho Kuk Innovation Party’s candidate application, document screening, interview screening, and public opinion hearing.

He stated his intention to run, saying, "The local community is facing limitations in improving the quality of life of citizens due to the confrontation and stagnant structure of the two major political parties," and "I will implement policy-centered politics and create a city administration that communicates directly with citizens based on the expertise I have accumulated as a lawyer."
