대전시가 글로컬대학 선정을 위해 대학별 태스크포스(TF)팀을 구성하고 본격적인 운영에 들어갔다. 

이번 TF팀은 예비 지정 단계부터 체계적인 지원을 통해 대학 혁신기획서의 완성도를 높이고, 선정 가능성을 극대화하는 전략을 목표로 하고 있다.

TF팀은 각 대학의 혁신기획서 작성과 선정 지원을 위한 전담 조직으로, 대학 관계자와 시 관련 부서, 혁신기관 전문가 등으로 구성되어 있다. 

현재 운영 중인 TF팀은 충남대+국립공주대 지원팀 ,한남대 지원팀 ,목원대+배재대+대전과기대 지원팀 ,한밭대 지원팀 ,우송대 지원팀 등 5개 대학 지원팀과 1개 총괄팀으로, 총 46명이 참여하고 있다.

TF팀 회의는 지난 7일 한남대 지원팀을 시작으로, 10일 충남대+국립공주대 지원팀, 11일 목원대+배재대+대전과기대 지원팀, 13일 한밭대 지원팀, 19일 우송대 지원팀 순으로 진행될 예정이다. 

회의에서는 대학별 혁신기획서 수립 방향과 기관별 지원 방안 등을 논의하며, 내실 있는 혁신기획서 작성과 유기적인 협력체계 구축을 위한 실질적인 방안을 모색할 계획이다.

특히, 2024년도 본지정 평가에서 아쉽게 탈락한 대학들은 평가 종합 의견을 바탕으로 미흡한 부분을 보완하고 개선하여 더욱 완성도 높은 혁신기획서를 작성하는 데 집중하고 있다.

대전시는 총괄팀을 운영하여 대학별 TF팀을 상시 지원하며, 맞춤형 밀착지원을 통해 글로컬대학 선정 가능성을 높이겠다는 전략을 세우고 있다. 

글로컬대학30 사업은 2025년까지 세계적 수준의 지방대학을 육성하는 것을 목표로 하며, 선정된 대학에는 최대 5년간 국비 1천억 원(통합대학 최대 1천5백억 원)이 지원된다. 

교육부는 2023년과 2024년에 각각 10개 대학을 선정했으며, 올해 추가로 10개 이내의 대학을 지정할 예정이다.

교육부의 지정계획에 따르면, 3월 중 혁신기획서 제출 후 20개 내외의 예비지정 대학이 선정되고, 7월 본지정 신청, 8월 말에 10개 내외 대학이 최종 선정될 예정이다.

Daejeon City, Global University Selection Support TF Teams for Each University Fully Operated

Daejeon City has formed a task force (TF) team for each university to select a global university and has begun full-scale operation.

This TF team aims to improve the completeness of university innovation plans and maximize the possibility of selection through systematic support from the preliminary designation stage.

The TF team is a dedicated organization for writing innovation plans for each university and supporting selection, and is comprised of university officials, city departments, and innovation agency experts.

The TF teams currently in operation include Chungnam National University + Kongju National University Support Team, Hannam University Support Team, Mokwon University + Paichai University + Daejeon Science and Technology University Support Team, Hanbat University Support Team, and Woosong University Support Team, and 1 general team, with a total of 46 members participating.

The TF team meeting will begin with the Hannam University support team on the 7th, followed by the Chungnam National University + Kongju National University support team on the 10th, the Mokwon University + Paichai University + Daejeon Science and Technology University support team on the 11th, the Hanbat National University support team on the 13th, and the Woosong University support team on the 19th.

The meeting will discuss the direction of establishing innovation plans for each university and support measures for each institution, and seek practical measures for writing a substantive innovation plan and establishing an organic cooperation system.

In particular, universities that were unfortunately eliminated in the 2024 main evaluation are focusing on writing a more complete innovation plan by supplementing and improving the insufficient parts based on the comprehensive evaluation opinions.

Daejeon City is operating a general team to support the TF teams of each university at all times and is establishing a strategy to increase the possibility of being selected as a global university through customized close support.

The Global University 30 project aims to foster world-class local universities by 2025, and selected universities will receive up to KRW 100 billion in national funds (up to KRW 150 billion for integrated universities) for up to five years.

The Ministry of Education selected 10 universities in 2023 and 2024, and plans to designate up to 10 more this year.

According to the Ministry of Education's designation plan, after submitting the innovation plan in March, about 20 preliminary designation universities will be selected, and applications for main designation will be made in July, and about 10 universities will be finally selected at the end of August.
