대전시장 도전 정기현 시의원, 교육분야 공약 발표

오는 6월 실시하는 지방선거에 대전시장 출마를 공식 선언한 정기현 대전시의원이 교육분야 공약을 발표했다.

 

교육시장을 표방하고 있는 정 의원은 25일 대전시의회 기자실에서 자신의 첫 번째  교육관련 공약 발표를 시작으로 경선 레이스에 본격 나섰다.

 

이날 정 의원은 '교육정책 및 청소년 정책'을 1호 공약으로 내세우고 미래를 준비하는 인재 양성에 나선다는 계획을 발표했다.

 

먼저 정 의원은 10~20년 후를 준비하는 인재 양성을 위해 학교 교육혁신 지원과 완전 무상 유아교육 및 보육실현,학교 밖 교육체계 구축,특수교육 평생교육체계 구축,학교용지 우선 확보와 과밀학급 해소 지원,학교안팍 과학기술교육 상설화,문화예술체육교육 활성화 지원 및 생태계 구축,지역 대학 지원 프로그램,글로벌 인재양성 프로젝트 시행 등을 공약했다.

 

이어 학교교육 혁신 지원 공약으로 교사 업무부담 해소을 위해 교무업무 전담인력을 학교당 1~3명을 배치해 교사의 교무업무를 전담케 하고 AI/SW교육 활성화 지원을 통해 초.중.고 인공지능 및 소프트웨어 교육 활성화를 지원하고 완전한 무상 유아교육을 실현하기 위해 만 3세 부터 만 5세까지 월 20만 원의 영유아 교육비를 지원 하고 어린이집 운영을 준공영제로 실시한다고 말했다.

 

이어진 발표에서 정 의원은 고등학생 해외 현장체험 연수 대폭 확대를 지원하고 중증장애인 평생교육체계 구축과 실질적인 친환경 급식을 시행, 학생 및 학교 밖 청소년 문화예술 관람비 지원,연구원 및 대학생 멘토제도를 실시 한다고 밝혔다.

 

정 의원은 또 모든 청소년 시설에 교육체계를 구축하는 것을 시작으로 학교 밖 청소년 학업지원체계 구축에 나서고 신도시와 재개발지역에 학교용지를 최우선으로 확보하기 위해 학교용지 미확보 업체에는 주택건설 사업승인을 불허 해야 한다고 공약했다.

 

대전지역 대학생 지원정책으로는 대학 신입생 축하격려금으로 대전 거주자에 한해 30만 원을 지급하고,대학 미진학 청년들에게도 자기개발비 30만 원을 지원하다고 밝혔다.

 

이 밖에 문화예술체육 및 과학기술교육 지원와 진로진학 상담 지원을 통해 진로진학 정보 격차 해소에 나선다고 밝히고 자치구별 5억 원을 지원해 교육혁신지구 사업을 확대하고 연구기관과 대학 등 지역 기관 견학과 체험을 지원하고 대전교육복지재단 설립을 통해 어린이집 준공영제 운영을 지원한다고 공약했다.

 

정 의원은 작은학교 지원 강화도 공약했다.

 

이를 위해  정 의원은 작은학교 지역 교육특구를 지정 운영하고 실내스포츠,체험교실 등 미래교육 과 학생 맞춤형 교육을 지원하고 작은학교 및 특성화고에 골프스쿨을 운영해 학생 골프선수 육성에 나선다고 밝혔다.

 

이 외에도 정 의원은 학교 주변 안전 및 환경 개선 상시 지원을 공약했다.

 

대전시의회 교육위원장과 예산결산위원장을 지낸 정 의원은 학교 교육과 예산 분야에 넓은 시야을 확보한 정치인으로 인정 받고있다.
