허태정 대전시장이 임인년 새해를 맞아 21일 대전시 산하 16개 공공기관에 대한 연두 방문을 시작했다.

이번 방문은 2년 넘게 지속되고 있는 코로나19 위기 상황에도 민선7기 시정을 성공적으로 이끌 수 있도록 애써 온 산하 기관 임직원들의 노고를 격려하고 애로 및 건의사항 등을 청취하기 위해 마련됐다.

첫 방문지로 대전시설관리공단을 찾은 허 시장은 “민선 7기 절반이상을 코로나19라는 낯설고 힘든 길을 걸어오면서도 3,300여명의 시 산하 공공기관 임직원들이 맡은 바 책임을 다하며 대전의 미래를 위해 많은 성과를 이루었다”고 말하며 감사의 마음을 전했다.

또한“대전시와 공공기관이 동반자적 입장에서 상호 협력하여‘더 나은 대전’을 위해 나아가자”고 당부했다.

허 시장은 대전시실관리공단 방문에 이어 대전세종연구원, 정보문화산업진흥원, 고암미술문화재단을 찾아민선 7기 주요현안사업 들에 대한 꼼꼼한 마무리를 당부했다.

허 시장의 공공기관 방문은 1월 25일(디자인진흥원, 과학산업진흥원, 일자리경제진흥원), 1월 26일(평생교육진흥원, 문화재단, 도시공사, 테크노파크), 2월 8일(한국효문화진흥원, 사회서비스원, 신용보증재단, 교통공사)까지 계속될 예정이다.
