[Chungcheongnam-do fosters next-generation core materials and parts]

Chungnam Province said that it was selected for the 'Establishment of the foundation for the development of advanced powder material parts' by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and secured 7 billion won in the national budget to leap forward as the center of the next-generation core material and parts industry that will lead the 4th industrial revolution era. said to foster

The high-tech powder material parts development base construction project is promoted to foster the metal powder material and parts industry and to maximize the added value of related products based on this and maximize the effect of replacing powder imports.

A total of 13 billion won, including 7 billion won from the government, 3 billion won from local funds, and 3 billion won from private funds, will be invested for five years until 2025.

The main business areas are △center/equipment establishment △development of core technology for powder materials and parts △technical support such as testing, verification, certification and reliability evaluation △manpower training, etc. Specifically, one center specializing in powder materials and parts and powder manufacturing equipment · We plan to build new equipment such as reliability evaluation equipment.

The center will utilize the existing building (Gongju University Cheonan Institute of Technology 1 Engineering Building) in the first and second years, and after the third year, the center will move into a new basic convergence laboratory with a total floor area of 1,300 m2 within the site of the host institution.

New construction equipment includes 17 types, including high-pressure vacuum gas spraying and molding integrated equipment, ultra-high-pressure hybrid powder manufacturing equipment, isostatic high-temperature pressurization machine, and 3D printer.

In addition, it supports powder manufacturing technology, powder processing/forming/sintering technology, powder material fusion technology, etc., supporting prototype production, product data establishment and marketing support, attracting related small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) research institutes in the center, and conducting programs linked to industries, universities, and graduate students. .

Chungcheongnam-do predicted that this project would have economic ripple effects such as production inducement effect of KRW 38.8 billion, value-added effect of KRW 11.4 billion, and employment inducement effect of 120 people.
