시공명리학 12번째 칼럼에서 살펴볼 사주는 넷플릭스 드라마 ‘폭싹 속았수다’에서 부상길 役을 맡아 ‘학씨 아저씨’라는 별명으로 큰 인기를 누리고 있는 최대훈 배우입니다. 

 

그는 고등학교 때 길거리 캐스팅으로 배우를 꿈꾸면서 중앙대학교 예술대학으로 진학하였고 2002년 23세에 단편영화로 활동을 시작하였지만 15년 무명배우로 지냈으며, 2017년 38세에 이르러서야 미니시리즈에 출연하면서 ‘다작 배우’로 거듭납니다. 

 

2022년까지 출연한 작품은 영화, 드라마, 뮤지컬, 공연까지 100편이 넘는다고 하는데요. 2025년에 ‘폭싹 속았수다’의 폭발적인 인기로 최고의 전성기를 누리게 되었습니다.  

 

옛날 주나라 사람이 누차 벼슬하려 했지만 백발노인이 될 때까지 뜻을 이루지 못해 길가에서 울고 있는데 사람들이 물었습니다. 

"무슨 일로 울고 있습니까?" 

"여러 차례 벼슬을 원했지만 나이만 들고 때를 놓쳐 울고 있다오!" 

"어떻게 한 번도 벼슬할 기회를 얻지 못했습니까?“

"젊은 시절부터 학문에 힘써 정통한 뒤에 벼슬을 하고 싶었소. 그런데 군주는 연로한 사람을 임용하길 원했소. 그 군주가 죽자, 다음 군주는 무인(武人)만 임용했다오. 나도 부랴부랴 무예에 힘써 겨우 성취를 이루었지만 군주가 죽어버렸고, 그 다음의 젊은 군주는 젊은이만 임용했소. 이렇게 늙을 때까지 단 한 번도 벼슬할 기회를 얻지 못했다오." <논형(論衡) 봉우(逢遇) 편> 

 

그렇다면 나의 운명은 적절한 때를 만날 수 있는지 사주팔자를 활용해서 살펴볼 수 있을까요? 바로 ‘시절(時節)’이라 부르는 개념을 활용하면 어렵지 않게 이해할 수 있습니다.

최대훈 배우는 계일(癸日)에 태어났기에 따사로운 봄날의 아지랑이처럼 만물을 이롭게 하고 성장을 촉진하는 비타민과 같아서 유사한 환경을 만나면 존재감을 뽐낼 수 있습니다(자세한 이치는 시공명리학 사계도(四季圖) 참고).      

 

하지만 겨울을 향하는 해월(亥月)에 태어났으니 계수(癸水)가 할 수 있는 일이 많지 않으며, 이런 상황을 “시절을 잃었다”고 표현합니다. 이런 이유로 월지 해수(亥水)와 일간 계수(癸水)의 시기인 15년 동안 존재감을 드러내지 못한 것으로 보입니다. 

 

하지만 일지(日支) 사화(巳火)의 시기에 이르자 화려한 봄과 같은 환경을 만났고, 사화(巳火)의 화려한 빛으로 일간 계수(癸水)의 존재를 밝게 비추자 갑자기 인생의 전환점을 맞이하게 됩니다.

      

2017년 38세 정유년(丁酉年)부터 미니시리즈 등 굵직한 드라마에 출연하며 존재감을 알리기 시작하였는데, 사주원국에서 크게 쓰임이 없던 해수(亥水)가 정유년(丁酉年)과 조합하여 정신임 삼자(丁辛壬 三字)로 팝콘처럼 펑 튀면서 유명해지고 수입도 크게 좋아졌습니다. 

 

올해 을사년(乙巳年)에 폭발적인 인기를 얻은 이유도 신묘(辛卯)대운 묘목(卯木)의 지장간 을목(乙木)이 천간(天干)으로 드러나자 계수(癸水)가 폭발적으로 자신의 존재감을 드러낼 기회를 맞이하였고, 사화(巳火)에서 꽃을 활짝 피웠기 때문입니다. 특히 사화(巳火)는 년주(年住)를 기준으로 삼합(三合)을 벗어난 겁살에 해당하기에 독특하고 깊이 있는 메소드 연기를 해냈습니다.  

 

드라마 ‘폭싹 속았수다’가 백상예술대상에서 총 4관왕을 차지할 만큼 큰 주목을 받고 최대훈 배우도 남자조연상을 수상하며 화려하게 존재감을 드러낼 수 있었던 것은 모두 계일(癸日)에게 있어 매우 적절한 시절을 만났기 때문입니다. 하지만 그 행운은 결코 우연이 아니며 묵묵히 때를 기다리며 노력한 결과물임이 분명합니다. 아무리 좋은 시절을 만나도 충분히 활용할 수 있는 노력이 없었다면 불가능한 일이었을 겁니다.
