세종지역 어린이 이용시설 종사자 안전교육’이 15일 열렸다.

세종시청에서 열린 이번 교육은 행전안전부 의무교육으로, 학원·어린이집 등 13세 미만 어린이가 주로 이용하는 시설의 종사자는 매년 4시간 이상의 안전교육을 이수해야 한다.

이날 교육에는 지역내 어린이집과 지역아동센터, 학원 등 어린이 이용시설 종사자 210여 명이 참석했다. 

특히 외국인 종사자를 위한 영어 동시통역을 제공해 교육의 실효성과 편의성을 높였다.

교육 프로그램은 ▲내·외과적 응급처치 이론 ▲영아·유아·소아 대상 기도폐쇄 대처방법 ▲심폐소생술 실습 ▲가상·증강현실(VR·AR) 응급상황 체험실습 등 실질적인 체험 중심의 과정으로 진행됐다.

올해 예정된 총 8회차의 교육 중 이날 4회차 교육과정을 마무리하면서 현재까지 총 840명의 어린이 이용시설 종사자가 교육에 참여했다.

향후 대면 실습교육은 ▲7월 10일 ▲8월 3일 ▲8월 18일 ▲9월 10일 등에 개최될 예정이며, 아직 교육을 이수하지 못한 종사자는 한국보육진흥원과 중앙육아종합지원센터에서 온라인 이론교육을 이수한 뒤 참여 신청을 하면 된다.

The "Safety Training for Staff of Children's Facilities in the Sejong Region" was held on the 15th.

Applications can be made starting on the 22nd through the National Support Center for Childcare's e-learning website.

Ko Seong-jin, Director of the Citizen Safety Office, stated, "The swift and correct initial response of staff members at childcare facilities is the first step in securing the precious safety of children," adding, "We will spare no effort in providing systematic and effective safety training so that all staff members can respond perfectly in the field without panicking."
