충남 예산군이 조국의 독립을 위해 헌신한 매헌 윤봉길 의사의 숭고한 역사적 자취를 놀이와 체험으로 배우는 이색 역사문화 프로그램을 선보인다.

예산군 관광시설사업소는 지난 12일부터 진행된 1박 2일 가족캠프 ‘go! go! 윤봉길 탐험대’를 시작으로, 2026년 생생국가유산 사업인 ‘룰루랄라, 윤봉길의사 유적에서 놀아보자’ 프로그램을 본격 운영한다고 15일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 지역의 대표적인 국가유산의 가치를 재조명하고 군민과 관광객의 문화 향유 기회를 확대하기 위해 마련됐다. 국가유산에 담긴 역사적 의미를 예산의 인적·물적 자원과 결합한 문화유산 향유 프로그램으로, 사단법인 매헌윤봉길의사월진회가 주관해 진행한다.

올해 프로그램은 역사 체험형 1박 2일 가족캠프 ‘go! go! 윤봉길 탐험대’, 윤봉길 의사의 일대기를 바탕으로 농촌을 체험하는 ‘윤봉길 따라 황토길 따라’, 초·중·고학생 단체를 대상으로 하는 ‘윤봉길 따라 도중도 한 바퀴’ 등 총 3개 과정으로 구성됐다. 오는 11월까지 총 15회에 걸쳐 다채롭게 펼쳐진다.

본격적인 사업의 서막을 연 ‘go! go! 윤봉길 탐험대’는 윤봉길 의사 유적지 답사와 캠핑을 융합해 참가자들의 큰 호응을 얻었다. 캠프에 참여한 가족들은 수통 만들기, 윤봉길 의사에게 편지 쓰기, 시 낭송, 일대기 체험 등 아이들의 눈높이에 맞춘 놀이형 프로그램을 통해 자연스럽게 역사를 가슴으로 받아들였다.

향후 진행될 ‘윤봉길 따라 황토길 따라’와 ‘윤봉길 따라 도중도 한 바퀴’ 역시 단순한 주입식 역사 교육에서 탈피했다. 

윤 의사의 삶을 흥미진진한 스토리텔링 방식으로 풀어내 역사 현장에서 농촌 체험학습을 함께 진행한다. 이를 통해 청소년들의 사회성과 협동심을 높이고 농촌이 가진 교육적 가치를 재발견할 수 있도록 동선을 설계했다.
