민선 9기 천안시정을 이끌 장기수 천안시장 당선인이 별도의 출범식 없이 곧바로 실무 중심의 인수위원회 체제를 가동하며 본격적인 시정 준비에 돌입했다.

장 당선인은 이번 인수위 역할을 담당할 기구의 명칭을 ‘천안대전환준비위원회’로 확정하고, 시민들과 함께 새로운 천안의 비전을 수립하겠다는 구상을 밝혔다. 

특히 이번 준비위원회는 기존의 관행적인 인수위원 위촉 대신 실무진 3명과 파견 공무원 2명을 중심으로 조직을 경량화하고, 각계 전문가와 시민 등 100여 명이 참여하는 자문위원회를 두어 전문성과 실용성을 동시에 확보했다.

자문위원회는 AI행정, 전략산업경제, 문화관광, 체육교육, 보건복지, 도시건설교통, 농촌농림환경 등 총 7개 분과로 세분화되어 운영된다. 준비위원회는 앞으로 민선 9기 시정 비전과 슬로건을 정립하고 주요 현안을 점검하는 것은 물론, 공약 과제의 실행 방안을 구체화하는 데 역량을 집중할 계획이다.
