충남대학교병원 외과 전공의들이 전국 규모의 학술대회 경연에서 최정상에 오르며 병원의 우수한 임상 교육 역량을 입증했다. 

충남대병원은 외과 신수윤, 심주은 전공의가 최근 열린 ‘2026 대한외과학회 춘계학술대회 전공의 술기대회’에서 최종 우승을 차지했다고 9일 밝혔다.

대한외과학회 전공의 술기대회는 전국 수련병원의 외과 전공의들이 한자리에 모여 정밀한 외과적 수술 능력과 긴밀한 팀워크를 겨루는 최고 권위의 경연장이다. 

이번 대회에서 충남대병원 대표로 출전한 신수윤·심주은 전공의는 치열한 예선을 뚫고 본선에 진출한 뒤, 정확하고 숙련된 술기와 흔들림 없는 협업 능력을 선보이며 심사위원들의 높은 평가 속에 당당히 우승 트로피를 들어 올렸다.

이번 쾌거는 충남대병원 외과가 오랜 기간 다져온 체계적인 수련 프로그램과 고도화된 임상 교육 인프라가 빚어낸 결실로 풀이된다. 충남대병원은 국립대학교병원 최초로 ‘임상교육시뮬레이션센터’를 설립해 실제 의료 현장과 흡사한 시뮬레이션 환경을 구축했다.
