충청남도교육청이 도내 교육 현장의 안전보건 관리체계를 공고히 다지고 중대재해를 선제적으로 예방하기 위해 일선 학교장과 교육기관장을 대상으로 고강도 안전 교육에 나선다. 

충남교육청은 도내 공·사립 학교 및 교육기관의 관리감독자 858명을 대상으로 ‘2026년 학교(기관) 관리감독자 정기안전보건교육’을 전격 실시한다고 9일 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 '산업안전보건법'에 따른 법정 의무 교육으로, 교육시설 안전의 최전선에 있는 공립 교(원)장 및 기관장, 사립학교 자체 지정 관리감독자들의 재해 대처 능력을 끌어올리기 위해 마련했다.

교육과정은 내실을 기하기 위해 충청남도교육청교육연수원의 인터넷 원격교육(8시간)과 현장 대면 집합교육(8시간)을 혼합한 총 16시간 과정으로 고안했다. 이 중 현장 집합교육은 고용노동부 지정 전문기관인 (사)중대안전보건예방협회에 위탁해 6월 한 달간 도내 권역별로 총 3회에 걸쳐 순차적으로 개최된다.

특히 올해 교육은 이론 위주에서 벗어나 학교 현장에 즉각 적용할 수 있는 실무 중심으로 편성해 몰입도를 높였다. 

오전 세션에서는 학교 맞춤형 응급 대응 절차, 직업성 근골격계 질환 및 직업병 관리, 교직원 직무스트레스와 정신건강 관리 등 보건·안전 기초 역량을 집중적으로 다룬다.

이어 오후 세션에서는 관리감독자의 법적 책임 의식을 일깨우기 위한 관리감독자의 법정 역할과 책임, 산업안전보건법 및 중대재해처벌법 핵심 분석, 위험성평가의 현장 이해, 학교 주요 사고 유형별 예방 대책, 화재 등 비상 상황 초기 대응 매뉴얼 등을 심도 있게 교육할 예정이다.

조성구 충남교육청 안전총괄과장은 이번 교육을 통해 관리감독자들이 법적 의무와 책임을 명확히 인지하고, 학교별 위험성평가 등 선제적인 예방 활동에 앞장서 단 한 건의 중대재해도 발생하지 않는 ‘안전하고 행복한 충남 학교 일터’를 만들어 가겠다고 강조했다.
