전문학 대전 서구청장 당선인이 선거대책위원회를 해체하고 본격적인 구정 인수 작업에 돌입했다.

전문학 당선인은 5일 대전 서구 월평동에 위치한 선거사무소에서 선대위 해단식을 개최했다. 이날 행사에는 선대위 관계자들과 자원봉사자, 시·구의원 당선인, 지지자 등이 참석해 선거 승리를 기념하고 향후 과제를 공유했다.

전 당선인은 인사말을 통해 “어려운 과정 속에서도 선대위 구성원과 서구민들의 전폭적인 지지가 있었기에 값진 승리를 거둘 수 있었다”며 감사를 전했다. 특히 당내 경선에서 경쟁했던 예비후보들이 ‘원팀’으로 힘을 보태준 점을 언급하며 고마움을 표했다.

이어서 “이제는 변화를 갈망하는 구민들의 기대에 부응해 새로운 서구를 열어가야 할 때”라며 “이념과 정파를 초월해 오직 구민의 안전과 삶의 질 향상을 최우선 과제로 삼겠다”고 향후 구정 운영 방향을 밝혔다. 또한 주민 중심의 행정을 강조하며, 서구를 ‘기본사회 1번지’로 만들겠다는 포부를 덧붙였다.

선거 종료 직후부터 출근길 인사와 전통시장 방문 등 민생 현장을 찾았던 전 당선인은 이날 오전 국립대전현충원을 참배한 뒤 공식적인 인수위원회 구성 절차에 착수했다.

앞으로 가동될 구청장직 인수위원회는 서구청의 주요 사업과 현안을 점검하고, 민선 9기의 핵심 공약과 비전을 구체적인 정책으로 제도화하는 역할을 맡게 된다. 전 당선인은 구민의 목소리를 신속하게 행정에 반영하는 현장 중심의 구청장이 되겠다는 의지를 재차 강조했다.
