6·3 지방선거의 막바지 표심을 잡기 위한 더불어민주당 장기수 천안시장 후보의 행보가 천안 도심을 뜨겁게 달궜다. 장 후보는 지난 30일 오후 천안 신부동 신세계백화점 앞 광장에서 ‘뭉치자! 천안대첩!’ 천안 집중유세를 성황리에 개최하며 선거 승리를 위한 막판 총력전에 나섰다.

이날 유세는 장기수 후보를 중심으로 천안의 새로운 변화와 도약을 열망하는 지지자들과 시민들이 대거 집결해 거대한 결집세를 과시했다. 

현장에는 박수현 충남도지사 후보를 비롯해 양승조·이정문·나소열 공동상임선대위원장, 문진석·이재관·복기왕·구본영·이용길 공동선대위원장 등 충남 지역 선대위 핵심 인사들과 전은수 아산시을 국회의원 후보가 총출동해 장 후보의 승리를 위해 힘을 보탰다.

특히 장기수 후보는 본 유세에 앞서 지지자들과 함께 선거사무소에서 신부동 유세 현장까지 자전거를 타고 이동하는 이색 선거운동을 펼치며 시민들의 이목을 집중시켰다.
