공주·부여·청양 국회의원 보궐선거에 출마 한더불어민주당의 김영빈 국회의원 후보가 12일 충청권 공천자대회에 참석해 보궐선거 승리와 지역 발전에 대한 강력한 의지를 표명했다.

이번 대회는 6·3 지방선거를 앞두고 충청권의 광역·기초단체장 및 국회의원 보궐선거 공천자들이 결집해 필승의 각오를 다지기 위해 마련된 자리다.

현장에서 정청래 총괄상임선대위원장은 김 후보에게 직접 공천장을 수여하며 힘을 실었다.

공천장을 거머쥔 김 후보는 결의문 낭독을 통해 “선배 정치인들이 일궈온 소중한 토대 위에 역동적인 활력을 불어넣는 ‘실력 있는 세대교체’를 반드시 실현하겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다. 단순히 인물을 바꾸는 것을 넘어, 실무 역량을 바탕으로 지역의 고질적인 문제를 해결하겠다는 의지로 풀이된다.

특히 김 후보는 이번 선거의 핵심 승리 전략으로 박수현 충남도지사 후보와의 원팀 연대를 강조했다. 그는 “박수현 후보가 그리는 충남의 큰 설계도에 김영빈의 실천력을 더하겠다”며 “도정과 긴밀히 발맞춰 공주·부여·청양의 발전을 실질적인 성과로 증명해내겠다”고 약속했다.
