한남대서 ‘덕구랑 놀자’ 대축제 성료…1,000여 명 참여해 오감 만족

축제 수익금 사회복지공동모금회 기부…아동친화도시 대덕구 가치 실현

대전광역시 대덕구가 제104회 어린이날을 맞아 단순한 유희를 넘어 ‘나눔의 가치’를 배우는 특별한 축제의 장을 마련해 눈길을 끌었다.

대덕구는 5일 한남대학교 56주년기념관에서 아동과 가족이 함께 어우러지는 ‘덕구랑 놀자! 대덕구 어린이날 대축제’를 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 행사는 아이들이 축제의 주인공이 되어 마음껏 뛰노는 것은 물론, 놀이를 통해 이웃 사랑을 실천하는 선순환 구조로 기획됐다.

현장을 찾은 1,000여 명의 방문객은 전용 쿠폰을 구매하거나 특정 놀이에 참여해 얻은 쿠폰으로 30여 종의 체험 부스를 이용했다. 

이러한 시스템은 아이들에게 경제 관념과 성취감을 동시에 제공하며, 축제 참여 과정 자체가 하나의 거대한 놀이가 되도록 설계되어 큰 호응을 얻었다.

현장에서는 21미터 챌린지와 점핑바 등 신체 활동 프로그램부터 페이스페인팅, 네일아트 등 감성 체험까지 다채로운 코너가 마련됐다. 

여기에 아이들의 눈과 귀를 사로잡는 키즈 매직쇼와 환상적인 버블쇼가 시간대별로 펼쳐지며 축제의 열기를 더했다.

특히 대덕구는 이번 행사에서 발생한 쿠폰 수익금 전액을 사회복지공동모금회에 기부하기로 했다. 

지역 교육 전문가들은 어린이날을 맞아 즐거운 추억을 쌓는 것에 그치지 않고, 우리 사회의 소외된 이웃을 돌아보는 ‘나눔 교육’의 현장을 대덕구가 구현했다는 점에서 타 지자체와 차별화된 성과를 거둔 것이라는 평가를 내렸다.
