예산군이 탄소중립 실천과 친환경 이동수단 확대를 위해 2026년 전기자동차 보급사업의 보조금 집행에 박차를 가한다. 

군은 고유가 지속으로 전기차 전환을 희망하는 군민 수요가 급증함에 따라, 하반기 배정 물량에 대한 보조금을 조기 집행해 군민들의 경제적 부담을 덜어줄 방침이라고 밝혔다.

지원 대상은 신청일 기준 예산군에 90일 이상 주소를 둔 개인, 사업자, 기업, 법인 등이다. 

지원 방식은 2개월 이내에 차량 출고가 가능한 경우에 한해 출고 및 등록 순으로 예산 범위 내에서 지원이 이뤄진다.

보조금 신청은 오는 5월 11일부터 ‘무공해차 통합 누리집’을 통해 온라인으로 접수 가능하다. 

세부적인 지원 금액과 조건은 예산군청 누리집 고시·공고란을 통해 확인할 수 있다.

예산군은 단순히 기존 물량을 소진하는 것에 그치지 않고, 친환경차 수요 폭증에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 하반기 추가경정예산을 편성할 계획이다. 

이를 통해 지원 물량을 추가로 확보함으로써 보조금 혜택을 받지 못하는 사각지대를 최소화하고 더 많은 군민에게 혜택을 돌려준다는 구상이다.

군 관계자는 군민들이 차질 없이 보조금을 지원받을 수 있도록 행정력을 집중하겠다고 강조했다.

Applications for subsidies can be submitted online via the "Zero-Emission Vehicle Integrated Website" starting May 11.
