대전교통공사가 기획예산처 복권위원회 주관 ‘2025년 지자체 복권기금 성과 평가’ 교통약자 이동지원 분야에서 12개 시·도 중 1위에 선정되며 전국 최고의 자리에 올랐다..

이번 평가 결과에 따라 대전시는 내년도 ‘교통약자 사랑나눔콜 운영사업’을 위한 복권기금 131억 8,400만 원을 획득하게 됐다. 

복권기금 성과 평가는 사업예산 집행률, 사업 성과, 환류, 가점 및 감점 등 총 4개 부문 12개 지표를 종합해 등급을 부여한다. 

시는 평가에서 효율적인 예산 집행과 가시적인 사업 성과를 거둔 것은 물론, 시민들의 의견을 적극 반영하는 피드백 체계에서도 높은 점수를 받는 등 포괄적인 측면에서 우수성을 인정받았다고 설명했다.

대전시의 ‘사랑나눔콜’ 사업은 지난 2005년부터 시작된 장수 교통 서비스로, 2017년부터는 복권기금의 지원을 받아 안정적으로 운영되고 있다. 

현재 센터는 휠체어 탑재가 가능한 특별교통수단(특장차) 116대, 전용 임차택시 20대, 바우처택시 250대 등 총 386대의 차량을 운행 중이다.

특히 어르신, 휠체어 이용자, 임산부 등 보행에 어려움이 있는 교통약자들을 위해 24시간 상시 서비스를 운용하고 있다. 

올해는 비휠체어 이용자를 위한 바우처 택시 운영 체계를 개선해 대기 시간을 단축하는 등 이용 편의성을 한층 고도화했다는 평가를 받는다.

이광축 대전교통공사 사장은 이번 1위 달성이 임직원 모두가 노력한 결실이라며, 모든 교통약자가 안전하고 편리하게 이동할 수 있도록 서비스를 지속적으로 발전시켜 나가겠다고 강조했다.
