지난 1일 발생한 화재로 나흘째 암흑 속에 갇혔던 조치원읍의 한 아파트 단지에 다시 전기가 흐를 전망이다. 세종특별자치시는 복구 업체와 긴밀히 협력해 오는 6일을 전력 시험 공급의 ‘디데이(D-Day)’로 잡고, 복구 작업에 속도를 내고 있다.

세종시는 주민들의 고통을 하루라도 빨리 덜어내기 위해 공사 현장에 추가 인력 투입을 강력히 요청했다. 현재 공용 시설과 각 세대의 전력을 동시에 복구하는 ‘병행 방식’을 통해 복전 공사를 최단기간 내 마무리하겠다는 구상이다.
