국민의힘 최민호 세종시장 예비후보가 노동의 가치를 도시 경쟁력의 핵심으로 규정하고, 기업과 노동자가 공존하는 ‘미래형 노동 생태계’ 조성을 약속했다.

최 예비후보는 1일 노동절 메시지를 통해 “노동은 단순한 시혜적 보호의 대상이 아니라 세종시를 움직이는 실질적인 엔진”이라며, 공정한 질서 확립과 일자리 확대를 골자로 한 정책 청사진을 공개했다.

그는 이날 노동절의 유래를 언급하며 “합리적 기준을 세워 무질서를 바로잡았던 노동절의 정신을 계승해, 갈등이 아닌 공정과 책임을 기반으로 한 노동 문화를 정착시켜야 한다”고 진단했다.

최 예비후보는 노동 정책의 핵심을 ‘기업 유치’와 ‘상생’에서 찾았다. 그는 “노동계와 경영계를 대립하는 이분법적 구도에서 벗어나 함께 성장하는 ‘경제 공동체’로 전환해야 한다”며 “활발한 기업 유치로 일자리를 늘리는 것이야말로 가장 강력한 노동 복지”라고 역설했다.
