대전광역시 사회혁신센터가 시민과 방문객이 일상 공간에서 자연스럽게 문화예술을 향유할 수 있도록 ‘2026년 커먼즈필드 대전 복도갤러리 전시 초대전’ 공모를 실시한다고 9일 밝혔다.

이번 공모는 대전 지역에서 활동하는 시민작가에게 전시 기회를 제공하고, 회화·사진·서예·판화·웹툰 등 다양한 장르의 미술작품을 시민과 공유하기 위해 추진된다.

응모 대상은 대전에서 활동 중인 시민작가 개인 또는 단체(팀)로, 벽면 전시가 가능한 작품에 한해 지원할 수 있다. 단, 벽에서 독립된 입체 설치 작품은 제외된다.

선정된 개인 또는 단체 작가는 약 30~45점 내외의 작품을 전시하게 되며, 전시는 커먼즈필드 대전 본관 1층에 위치한 복도갤러리 및 안녕라운지에서 진행될 예정이다. 

이 공간은 전문 전시장과 달리 시민의 일상 동선 속에 조성된 열린 전시 공간으로, 누구나 쉽게 예술을 접할 수 있다는 점에서 높은 접근성을 갖는다.

공모 기간은 1월 12일부터 2월 6일 오후 6시까지이며, 대전사회혁신센터 홈페이지 공고문을 통해 제출서류 양식을 내려받은 후 전자우편으로 접수하면 된다. 선정 작가에게는 전시 홍보 배너, 포스터, 리플릿, 캡션, 방명록 등 전시 운영에 필요한 기본 홍보물이 지원된다.

백성열 센터장은 “복도갤러리는 시민의 삶 속에서 예술이 자연스럽게 스며드는 공간”이라며 “이번 공모를 통해 지역 작가의 창작 활동을 응원하고, 시민이 일상 속에서 예술을 만나는 문화를 확산시켜 나가겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 커먼즈필드 대전 복도갤러리는 지역 예술가와 시민을 잇는 생활밀착형 전시 공간으로, 다양한 전시를 통해 시민의 문화 향유 기회를 지속적으로 확대해오고 있다.
