대전문화재단이 지역문화예술의 포용성과 기관의 공공성을 강화하기 위해 ‘인권경영 선언문’을 새롭게 손질했다. 재단은 개정된 선언문을 임직원과 협력기관에 배포하며, 인권 중심의 경영문화 확산에 나섰다고 9일 밝혔다.

이번 개정은 모든 시민이 차별 없이 문화예술을 향유할 수 있는 환경을 조성하고, 인권 존중을 조직 운영의 핵심 가치로 정립하기 위한 취지로 추진됐다. 재단은 인간의 존엄과 가치 실현을 모든 경영활동의 최우선 원칙으로 삼고, 이를 구체적인 실천 과제로 제시했다.

개정된 선언문에는 국제 인권 기준을 바탕으로 한 차별 없는 고용과 근무 환경 조성 ,노동 기본권 보장 ,상호 존중의 조직문화 형성 등 직원과 이해관계자를 아우르는 인권 보호 원칙이 담겼다. 

또한 안전한 근무·이용 환경 구축, 환경보호 실천, 문화다양성 확대 등 공공문화기관으로서의 책무도 명확히 했다.

백춘희 대표이사는 “작은 원칙이 모여 큰 신뢰를 쌓는다는 ‘적토성산’의 마음으로 인권이 선언을 넘어 일상이 되는 조직문화를 만들겠다”며 “인권 존중을 바탕으로 지역문화예술의 지속 가능한 발전을 이끌어 나가겠다”고 강조했다.

한편 재단은 선언문 개정과 더불어 인권 인식 제고를 위한 캠페인을 전개하고 있으며, 공식 SNS 등 온라인 채널을 통해 인권경영 실천 사례를 시민과 꾸준히 공유하고 있다.
