논산 강경고등학교는 최근 1학년 각 교실에서 ‘2026 중등 독서교육활성화 국어 골든벨’을 열어 학생들의 읽기 이해력과 사고력을 점검했다고 9일 밝혔다. 수업과 연계한 참여형 프로그램으로 구성된 이번 행사는 문해력 향상과 인문학적 소양 확장을 목표로 기획됐으며, 1학년 학생 28명이 참가해 경쟁과 협력이 어우러진 학습의 장을 만들었다.

참가 학생들은 공통국어2 수업에서 다룬 작품을 바탕으로 인물·사건·주제 의식을 재정리하는 사전 학습을 거쳤다. 본선에서는 객관식과 OX, 단답형 등 다양한 문항이 제시돼 텍스트를 정확히 읽고 근거를 찾아 답을 구성하는 능력이 평가됐다. 

이는 단순 암기를 넘어 읽기 전략과 추론 과정을 점검하도록 설계된 방식으로, 독서교육 활성화 사업의 취지를 교실 수업에 자연스럽게 접목했다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 성과가 두드러진 학생에게는 소정의 시상도 이뤄졌다.

행사에 참여한 학생들은 퀴즈 형식의 활동이 학습 부담을 낮추고 독서에 대한 흥미를 높였다고 평가했다. 수업에서 읽은 작품을 다시 검토하며 핵심을 정리하는 과정이 이해의 깊이를 더했고, 읽기의 즐거움을 체감하는 계기가 됐다는 반응이 이어졌다.

Nonsan Kanggyeong High School announced on the 9th that it recently held the "2026 Middle School Reading Education Promotion Korean Language Golden Bell" event in each first-year classroom, assessing students' reading comprehension and critical thinking skills.
