대전 대덕연구개발특구가 2025년도 연구개발특구 성과평가에서 또다시 ‘우수’ 등급을 받으며 5년 연속 최상위 자리를 지켰다. 

대전시에 따르면 과학기술정보통신부가 전국 5개 특구(대전·광주·대구·부산·전북)를 대상으로 실시한 이번 평가에서 대덕특구는 지자체 주도의 사업화 환경 조성과 전략적 성장지원 등의 성과를 인정받았다.

이번 평가 결과에 따라 대전시는 2026년도 국비 인센티브 20억 원을 확보했다. 시는 해당 재원을 ‘특구 혁신성장 스케일업 사업’과 전략기술 연구성과 사업화 지원 등에 투입해 특구 중심의 지역 혁신 생태계 조성에 속도를 낼 방침이다.

대덕특구는 그동안 기술사업화 인프라 확충 ,전문기관 협의체를 통한 기업 맞춤형 지원 ,글로벌 기술이전 확대 및 연구소기업 설립 강화 등을 추진하며 혁신 성과를 이어왔다. 

이러한 지속적인 노력 덕에 대전시는 2022년 이후 매년 우수 평가를 받아 총 100억 원이 넘는 국비 인센티브를 확보하는 성과를 거뒀다.

유세종 대전시 미래전략산업실장은 “이번 연차평가 결과는 대전시와 대덕특구의 긴밀한 협력과 꾸준한 지원 노력이 만든 결실”이라며 “앞으로도 전략산업을 중심으로 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖춘 지역 대표기업이 성장할 수 있도록 지원을 강화하겠다”고 말했다.

Daejeon City Secures KRW 2 Billion in National Funding for Daedeok Innopolis, Receives Top Rating of "Excellent" for 5th Consecutive Year

Daejeon's Daedeok Innopolis, once again receiving an "Excellent" rating in the 2025 R&D Innopolis Performance Evaluation, retaining its top spot for the fifth consecutive year.

According to Daejeon City, the Ministry of Science and ICT conducted this evaluation of five Innopolises nationwide (Daejeon, Gwangju, Daegu, Busan, and Jeollabuk-do) and recognized Daedeok Innopolis for its achievements in fostering a local government-led commercialization environment and supporting strategic growth.

Based on this evaluation, Daejeon City secured KRW 2 billion in national funding incentives for 2026. The city plans to invest this funding in the "Innovative Growth Scale-up Project for Innopolises" and in supporting the commercialization of strategic technology research results, accelerating the creation of a regional innovation ecosystem centered on the Innopolis.

Daedeok Innopolis has achieved innovative results by expanding its technology commercialization infrastructure, providing customized support to companies through a consultative body of specialized organizations, expanding global technology transfer, and strengthening the establishment of research institutes.

Thanks to these ongoing efforts, Daejeon City has received excellent evaluations every year since 2022, securing a total of over 10 billion won in national incentives.
