거점국립대학교인 충남대학교가 2026학년도 정시모집을 통해 총 875명의 신입생을 선발하며 미래 인재 확보에 나선다. 이번 정시는 첨단 분야 학과 개편과 수능 반영 영역의 유연화 등 급변하는 교육 환경에 맞춘 변화가 핵심이다.

충남대는 이번 정시모집에서 가군 489명, 나군 386명을 각각 모집한다. 전형별로는 일반전형 외에도 지역인재, 국가안보융합, 농어촌학생, 저소득층학생 전형 등 다양한 트랙을 운영해 기회의 폭을 넓혔다. 원서접수는 오는 12월 29일부터 31일까지 진행된다.

또한, 사범대학은 올해부터 전 모집단위에서 면접고사를 폐지하고 수능 100%로 선발한다. 예체능 계열을 제외한 일반전형과 지역인재전형 역시 수능 표준점수 100%를 반영해 선발의 투명성과 단순함을 높였다.
