내년 9회 전국동시지방선거를 7개월 앞둔 가운데  세종시 교육감 선거에 재도전할 것으로 알려진 강미애 세종미래교육연구소장 움직임이 빨라지고 있다.

강 소장은 22일 오후 2시 세종시 다정동 가온마을 6단지 대강당에서 자신의 저서인 '머위잎 선물' 출판기념회를 갖는다.

'강미애 아침 편지'라는 부제가 붙은 이 책은 '강 소장이 아침마다 풀어낸 삶의 진솔한 이야기 '를 담고 있다.

강 소장은 책 서문에서" 머리가 지근거리고 몸에  열이 오르는 날에도 글을 쓰면  나의 시작도 평온해졌다"며"그렇게 그렇게 글은 완성되어 갔다"고 소개했다.  

그러면서  "자존감 강한 이들이 나의 미비한 글에 공감해주고 그 칭찬에  힘입어 계속할 수 있었다"고 밝혀 의지를 강하게 드러냈다.

이날 북콘서트에는 교육관계자 ,학부모, 학생, 시민 등 300여명이 참석할 예정이다.

강 소장은 전주교육대를 졸업하고 1988년 처음 교단에 선 이후  34년간을 교직에 몸담아 오면서 현장 경험을 바탕으로 세종미래교육구축에 힘써온 것으로 알려져 있다.

세종 도원초 교장,세종 종촌초 교장,세종교원단체 총연합회 회장, 한국교원단체 총연합회 이사 등을 역임했으며 지난 2022년 교육감선거에서는 득표율 2위를 기록했다.

한편,이번 세종시 교육감 선거에는 박백범 교육부 전 차관, 안광식 더민주 세종혁신회의 공동대표, 원성수 전 공주대총장,이길주 전 다빛초 교장, 임전수 세종교육연구원장, 유우석 세종마을교육연구소 소장, 최태호 한국대학교수 연대 공동대표 등이 출마를 위해 보폭을 넓히는 것으로 전해진다.

Director Kang will hold a book launch event for her book, "Mulberry Leaf Gift," at 2:00 PM on the 22nd at the main auditorium of Gaon Village Complex 6 in Dajeong-dong, Sejong City.

Director Kang, a graduate of Jeonju National University of Education, has dedicated himself to building a future education system in Sejong City, drawing on his 34 years of experience as a teacher since his first teaching position in 1988.

He has served as principal of Sejong Dowon Elementary School, Sejong Jongchon Elementary School, president of the Sejong Federation of Teachers' Associations, and director of the Korean Federation of Teachers' Associations. He ranked second in the 2022 superintendent election.

Meanwhile, former Vice Minister of Education Park Baek-beom, co-chairman of the Minjoo Party's Sejong Innovation Conference Ahn Gwang-sik, former President of Kongju National University Won Seong-soo, former principal of Dabit Elementary School Lee Gil-joo, president of the Sejong Education Research Institute Lim Jeon-soo, director of the Sejong Village Education Research Institute Yoo Woo-seok, and co-chairman of the Korean University Professors' Association Choi Tae-ho are reportedly expanding their candidacy for the upcoming Sejong City superintendent election.
