세종시가 정부의 ‘인공지능 대전환(AX)’ 정책 기조에 발맞춰 전 방위적인 디지털 혁신에 나선다.

이를 위해 세종시는 16일 집현실에서 ‘인공지능 혁신 전담조직(TF)’ 전체 회의를 열고 본격적인 활동에 착수했다고 밝혔다. 전담조직은 이용일 기획조정실장을 단장으로, 정민기 인공지능 정책특보가 부단장을 맡아 행정혁신에 관심 있는 공무원 30여 명으로 구성됐다.

이번 TF는 인공지능 행정혁신 ,공모사업 발굴 ,활용지원 ,신기술 동향 등 4개 분과 체제로 운영되며, 각 분과별 실무과제를 발굴하고 구체적 실행방안을 마련하는 역할을 맡는다.

첫 회의에서는 TF 운영계획과 함께 생성형 인공지능 활용 딥리서치 전문교육 추진계획 ,국정운영 5개년 계획과 연계한 세종시 인공지능 정책방향을 공유했다. 

또한 인공지능 기반 자동화 플랫폼(N8N) 시범 운영 ,종량제 기반 생성형 AI 서비스 검증(POC) ,AI 활용 경진대회 개최 등 3가지 안건을 집중 논의했다.

세종시는 TF 활동을 정례화해 복지·교통·안전 등 시민 체감형 서비스 개선과 행정 효율화를 적극 추진할 방침이다. 아울러 정부가 추진하는 인공지능 국정과제에도 발맞춰 세종시만의 특화된 디지털 혁신 모델을 구축한다는 계획이다.

Promoting Comprehensive Digital Transformation Across Administration, Industry, and Education

In line with the government's "AI Transformation (AX)" policy, Sejong City is embarking on a comprehensive digital transformation initiative.

To this end, Sejong City announced the launch of its AI Innovation Task Force (TF) at a plenary meeting held at Jiphyeonsil on the 16th. The task force, headed by Lee Yong-il, Director of the Planning and Coordination Office, and Jeong Min-ki, Special Advisor for AI Policy, serves as Deputy Director. The task force consists of approximately 30 public officials with an interest in administrative innovation.

The task force will operate under four divisions: AI Administrative Innovation, Public Offering Project Development, Utilization Support, and New Technology Trends. Each division will identify practical tasks and develop concrete implementation plans.

At the first meeting, the task force's operational plan, a plan to promote specialized training in deep research utilizing generative AI, and Sejong City's AI policy direction aligned with the five-year national administration plan were shared.

The committee also focused on three agenda items: pilot operation of the AI-based automation platform (N8N), verification of a pay-as-you-go-generating AI service (POC), and hosting an AI utilization competition.

Sejong City plans to regularize the task force's activities to actively pursue improvements in citizen-facing services such as welfare, transportation, and safety, as well as administrative efficiency. Furthermore, in line with the government's national AI initiatives, the city plans to establish a specialized digital innovation model unique to Sejong City.
