대전시가 창업 실패 이후 다시 도전하는 기업인을 위한 국내 첫 전용 지원공간을 열며 재창업 생태계 구축에 나섰다.

대전시는 16일 대전스타트업파크 본부 2층에서 ‘재도전·혁신캠퍼스’ 개소식을 열고 운영에 돌입했다고 밝혔다. 이번 사업은 중소벤처기업부 국비 지원을 포함한 총 60억 원(국비 40억 원, 시비 20억 원)이 투입돼 마련됐으며, 재창업 전용공간으로는 전국 최초 사례다.

새로 문을 연 캠퍼스는 대전창조경제혁신센터가 운영을 맡아 재창업 기업 발굴·육성을 비롯해 상담, 교육, 네트워킹 등 재도전을 뒷받침하는 종합 지원체계를 가동한다. 

특히 전시공간에는 국내외 350건에 달하는 도전 사례와 실패제품 39종, 영상자료 74편이 전시돼 창업 실패를 바라보는 사회적 인식을 개선하는 장으로도 활용된다. 대전지역 재창업 성공기업 전시도 함께 선보인다.

입주 기업을 위한 전용 공간도 다양하게 마련됐다. 다목적실, 1인 연구석 17석, 상담부스, 영상제작실 등이 갖춰져 기업별 맞춤형 성장과 사업 홍보까지 밀착 지원하게 된다. 앞으로는 교육·컨설팅, 사업화 자금 지원, 시장 전환을 통한 폐업 방지, 데이터베이스 구축 등 실질적인 재도전 프로그램이 운영될 예정이다.

이날 개소식에는 이장우 대전시장과 조원휘 시의장, 창업지원 기관 관계자 및 재창업 성공기업 대표 등 50여 명이 참석해 현판 제막과 전시공간을 둘러보며 재창업 지원정책의 필요성과 향후 발전방향을 공유했다.

Daejeon City has launched the nation's first dedicated support space for entrepreneurs seeking a second chance after a failed startup, establishing a thriving ecosystem for startups.

Daejeon City held an opening ceremony for the "Re-Challenge and Innovation Campus" on the second floor of the Daejeon Startup Park headquarters on the 16th and announced the launch of operations. This project, funded by a total of KRW 6 billion (KRW 4 billion from the national government and KRW 2 billion from the city), including government funding from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, is the first dedicated space for re-startups in the nation.
